I am a new mom and realized I didn’t want my current health habits to be what I passed down to my daughter. I never really maintained any structured workout in my life prior to working with Audrey. My habits consisted of limiting my carb intake at normal meals only to shamefully binge on chips and pasta later. Audrey created simple at home workout programs for me I can fit in during my daughter’s naps or even when she’s playing next to me. I actually increased my food and carb intake which helped curb my carb cravings, and Audrey helped me identify emotional reasons for the binging. Now when I choose to eat chips or pasta, I do so intentionally and fully enjoy it!
During our weekly meetings we discussed what was driving me to make a change, what things held me back in the past, and how to overcome those obstacles moving forward. I know I will maintain the workout programs, introduce them to my daughter, and show her how I fuel my body with food while thoroughly enjoying treats along the way! I was surprised and grateful to find that working with Audrey wasn’t focused too much on physical workouts or nit-picking food choices, but the core things that drove me forward and held me back. I feel more energized and confident to continue working on being my best self for myself and my family.
